life sucks. like majorly. i’m so fed up of the unfairness that is liberty theatre auditions. really? it’s making me want to give it up completely. life can’t stop for you. you have to make life stop. so, i figure that this is probably my last year. i’ll try out for guys and dolls, not expecting a part, but i’ll try out. i’m not giving up. i love theatre. i love the people. i love the feeling you get on opening night, when the curtain opens, and you look out into the audience. you can’t see anyone, but you know they’re there, watching you do what you love. and it hurts me. it hurts me to know that there are well-deserving people out there who deserve a better role. (not talking about me. i’m not well-deserving.) but there are people that are.

Every day, I get a little more smart. I seem to be oddly figuring out more and more of life without trying to. Last week, I took a trip to the beach with world’s best cousin, Annie. And my aunt and uncle. You’re probably thinking, where the hell is she going with this? Well. Annie is one of the most self-confident people I know. She is quite happy with herself. Which made me think. Why can’t I be? So, I am now. I came back from the beach more self-confident.

Speaking of the beach, one day, I was there. In the ocean, for the record. A foot in front of me, there was a fin. A fin of a dolphin. In the Atlantic. In New Jersey. In Cape May. A dolphin. Lucky me.

hey my lovelies! :] i’m terribly sorry. i haven’t updated in forever, and i regret that. so, please forgive me. just a little note.

ANYWAY…i have something to write about today. something not completely pointless, something not about music, or twitter, or stupidity. something about injustice. okay, so you’re going to a friend’s house for a party. a swim party. they have a thirty year old pool that’s in dire shape, and is partially dilapidated. mysteriously, there are holes in the side of the pool. twelve, to be exact. but only one of them is legitimately leaking water. the gentleman of the home, in this case: the father, sits all six of us down and talks to us about the matter.

HE BLAMES US. STRAIGHT UP BLAMES US.

now. i get where he’s coming from and all, it’s his pool, his house, he paid good money for his house. and no, i’m not whining about this. it’s just that there is no motive that i can see from any direction that would give us a reason to sabotage his 12 by 12 above-ground pool. he’s not getting the cops involved, by the way. :] anyway, there are six girls. he trusts half of us. he suspects that it’s one of the other three, which includes me.

let’s just say this. i think someone knows something. one person. that’s it.

So, I learned about Twitter. Recently. I decided it would be a good move for my blog. So now people have multiple ways to creep on me now. This is…wonderful. I was considering making a Facebook page to get the word out that I’m here, but I decided that linking to other blogs might be more helpful. Ah, Twitter. Yes. My username is sarahelley. Look me up and follow me. Creeeeep. Wow. Anyway, sorry for the total lack of uncreative blog posts, I’m sorry. I was too busy doing handstands off of hobos. Personally, I don’t like hobos. Once, a hobo attacked me. This was last year, so the emotional scarring is still very present. Shudder.

I GOT A NEW THEME! FINALLY! I hope you like it. It’s simple and is just…easy to read and quite modern. I like it. I’ll probably change it again just because I am so darn bad with changes, but the old theme was too sophisticated and ancient-looking. So, I considered joining my school paper, Liberty Life. I know what you are thinking. It’s a low sink for a up-and-coming journalist. Hey. I think that most modern journalists started off on their school paper. I don’t think that it’s an insult to us.

So, I was bored one day. You know that feature on iTunes where you can add lyrics to your songs in your library? I did that to 100 songs, thanks to seekalyric.com. Nerdddd. Yes that’s me. Thought that you would like to know.

I saw Billy Elliot in New York yesterday. AMAZING SHOW! The dancing was fabulous, the acting was great. The kids and the adults for that matter, really looked like they enjoyed what they did. It was quite a feat.

So, how’s life for you?

Sorry that I haven’t wrote in forever. I’ve been busy with theatre and homework, and LORD OF THE FLIES. I mean, seriously. Freshman should have a choice on what book to read. I shouldn’t be forced to read a book I dislike. I really want to read Stori Telling, by Tori Spelling. Maybe I’ll read that during another drawled-out Durante end-of-the-day announcements sessions. I’ll finish it during that time.

So, my stupid schedule. Imagine this. You are three months away from sophomore-ness. Final schedule changes are made. You want to double up in science (nerdd). Honors Chemistry and Honors Anatomy. But, since you are in chorus, they take you out of Anatomy and put you in Honors Chem Extension. I know, FML. So, you decide to take Honors Anatomy at 6:15 in the morning.

AKJLKSDKASDKAJLF? 6:15? Yeah, I’m a nerd who wants a higher GPA. So my final schedule is Honors Anatomy, Honors Chem & Extension, and News Journalism.

My site is officially created. I don’t know what you want to call it, a sims 2 site slash blog, I guess. I’m not especially good at custom content, actually all of it is quite ridiculous. So I present to you: a house and a Sim.

This is Sydney. Sydney is a bohemian Sim, nicely outfitted for witchcraft…at least that is how I imagine her. Her outfit is by Free People by Escand@MTS2, as those bohemians seem to like. The hair is not included in the download, but can be found here. The lovely hair is by the wonderful Nouk. The hair that is included is also by Nouk and is her Jolien hair.

This is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom lot with an office, a massive kitchen, 2 closets on the second floor and one on the first floor, and convertible attic. Okay, so here I am again, on this unseasonably warm day in the Northeast. The snow fell a while ago, but I was feeling contentious with the amount that we got. The forecasters raise our hopes up, and quickly diminish them into nothing. It’s terribly unfair, and the accuracy of the forecast gets boring, since it never is. I built an igloo type thing, but realized that the warmness outside would melt my precious snowfort.

Anyway, I’m starting to get into this whole thing. I even uploaded an ‘avatar’. It’s called being creative.

Me as a sim, I’m quite proud.

Hey, if I’m actually going to get into this, I might as well add this. I would like to migrate some of my old posts on to this blog, just so it looks like I have some material. Material, I like the way that sounds.

Well, if blogging hasn’t already hit you, I don’t know what you do on that computer of yours. It’s a mystery, online gambler, but who’s to judge? Well, you stumbled upon me and that’s a good thing. Or a bad thing…whatever you perceive it to be.

‘Ello, big fan. I’m Sarah, middle name’s Elizabeth, but I prefer Elley to Elizabeth. I only do it to be different. I like it better too, Elizabeth is just a tad too formal. Judge me as you will, but in book standards I’d like to be realistic fiction. I’m outspoken, loud, and blonde. I don’t like not being the only one in a movie theater. I hate crowds, but I’m not claustrophobic. Baked potato soup is my favorite.

Buy me some and I’ll love you forever.
